My favorite part about working in the kid-space has been writing for YouTube. There, I can use toys to write long-form stories and episodic content to truly entertain an audience—without feeling like an ad. It’s been the most creative latitude I’ve ever had and it has led to some of the most fun branded storytelling I’ve done.
Here are a few original adventures I wrote using characters and toys from How To Train Your Dragon. New movie in theaters now!
It was an honor to write original Batman missions for DC Kids starring Batman toys. Here are a few favorites I scripted for the Dark Knight.
When Bakugan 3.0 launched on Netflix, I wrote an entire YouTube ecosystem to support the brand, including music videos, watch parties, toy battles, and surrounding hype.
I’ve worked on a few robot toys, but none as unhinged as Ninja Bots. It was truly fun writing play-by-play for this deranged fight club.
I also wrote and developed a Blippi-inspired kids’ show that functioned as a platform to showcase Spin Master toys.
